Just read in the local Delaware news that Sergei, a Siberian tiger who lived at the Brandywine Zoo near my former home in Trolley square was put to sleep this week at 18 years old. Sad day. I visited these guys fairly often. In truth, it never looked like an ideal place to keep such an animal, but I know the staff there took care of the tigers th the best of their ability.
